The spacious rooms had new carpet and tiles, and the bathroom was surprisingly large-probably larger than the bedroom! The kids loved the large yard, where they could run around and enjoy some fresh air while I took a moment to catch up on work with the reliable Wi-Fi. Exploring the gorgeous surroundings was a highlight-hiking trails are abundant, making it easy for our family to enjoy some nature. While we didn't ski during our visit, I appreciated that the option was available for future family trips. The restaurant offered a good selection, providing a nice break from our outdoor activities. The price compared to the quality didn't quite add up, which is something to keep in mind. I think Penzion Bowten suits families looking for a cozy base to explore the area without any frills. If you're after simple family-friendly amenities, this might be worth considering.
